THIS IS MEGAN, Senior Associate Creative Director
A team member for ten years, that’s a decade of design, so it makes sense that she oversees the CBP brand and retail line! In fact, Megan was around in the early CBP “red table” days when there was just one cordless phone. She has quite the eye, you see, but let’s not lose sight of her other skills. She’s also clever with copy and hand lettering.
Megan studied at Truman State University and got her BFA in Visual Communications after making the switch from biology/pre-med. No surgeries or symptoms for her, but bring on the design emergencies.
Can one be defined by the contents of her desk? Let’s see what’s here.
Let’s start with the llama in the room, a modern wooden one, from her favorite secret Santa, Taylor.
Markers and pens, I see a trend.
A stack of vintage books, that continues to grow higher and higher.
Other retro items, a leather postcard find and a tiny Fivaz box, from a Paris flea market.
Stamp holders in leather and brass.
A TO DO list alas!
A Starbucks’ gift card, that won’t last.
And a tiny pink matchbook that she couldn’t pass up.
This lover of national parks is known for her freckles and glasses, she has several pair, hard to know which ones she’ll wear. She considers antique shopping a hobby, always collecting whatever catches her eye. And chocolate chip cookies are her all-time favorite sweet, so it makes sense that she thinks cookie delivery is the greatest modern convenience. Megan has small town roots and often dreams of living on a farm, but we hope that’s just a passing fancy.
Let’s end here, but take this into consideration, perhaps when you observe her illustrations, she says she’s inspired by the perfect balance of confidence and humility. You just got love her transparency.
