Cheree loves all things gold foil and is the unofficial weather woman. When she isn’t busy making the prettiest paper you’ve ever seen, you might find her looking for her phone or keys.
Prior to starting Cheree Berry Paper in 2006, Cheree was an associate art director at kate spade in New York City for four years. At kate spade, Cheree was the lead designer on the company’s stationery line – a collaboration with Crane & Co. Her responsibilities included designing the company’s wedding and social stationery albums as well as numerous stationery and gift products. Before kate spade, Cheree worked at the premier design firm, Pentagram, after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Cheree’s various design achievements include recognition as a stationery expert by both New York Magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings, being a recipient of Washington University in St. Louis’ Award for Distinction and designation as a Modern Bride Top 25 Trendsetter. Cheree was the commencement speaker for Washington University’s Sam Fox School of Art and Visual Design, class of 2017. Outside the office, Cheree donates her time to various non-profit organizations and sits on the boards of the Saint Louis Ballet and the Saint Louis Fashion Fund.
Cheree also designed and wrote Hoorah for the Bra, a humorous pop-up book on the history of the brassiere. The book, published by Harry Abrams, has received several press mentions and has been listed as a must-read by Redbook, Self and Woman’s Wear Daily.×

In this role, she focused primarily on establishing the social media strategy for the company’s Slim-Fast brand. While Kristen had a full-time offer to return to Unilever as an Associate Brand Manager, joining Cheree Berry Paper – a growing business with a bright future – was a more compelling and exciting career opportunity. Thus, she was Missouri bound! Kristen has not looked back since and through her efforts has helped the company more than quadruple in size over the last eight years.
Prior to receiving her MBA, Kristen was an investment banker and private equity associate in New York City. During her time in NYC, Kristen also served on the board of The Child Center of New York, a non-profit that reaches across diverse ethnic populations to create a supportive place for children at risk. Kristen’s past employment also includes four years of experience at Johnson and Johnson.×
